User invitation email
Below are important tips the Admin can assist a new user with, as needed. For more information see the manage an existing user section of this article.
- Invite expiration:
- Important! The new user email invitation expires in 24 hours.
- Re-send an invite through the Admin Console, Users page.
- Invite not received:
- The new user should check their spam folder to locate the invitation.
- If the user cannot locate the invite, your IT organization may need to allow the following email address (support@turvo.com) to prevent it from being blocked. Then the Admin should resend the user invite.
Once the user receives their email invitation, they can click ACCEPT INVITE to be taken through completing their profile information and creating a password.
To log in, users can go to onelineage.com/lineage-link and click on the LOG IN shortcut via the User Access section. Alternatively, users can log in directly on app.turvo.com. Users can access their Lineage Link account using the email address and password created with the initial email invite (previous step).
Manage an existing user
From the Admin Console, Users page, look up an existing user and apply the following actions to their account: Resend invite, change role/permission, suspend/restore, or delete. See the information below for how to complete each of these actions or select a section mentioned above, to skip ahead.
Navigating your list of users
To find your users list, click on your profile icon, select Admin Console, then click the Users tile.
For companies with many user accounts, use the Sort icon to view users ascending or descending by Name or Title. In addition, using the Filter icon allows you to narrow down your user list by entering a Name, and selecting a specific Role, or Status to make it easier to look up one or more users you need to review or make changes to.
Resend invite
If a user is showing “Invited” status and has not yet accepted the email invite or the invite has expired, click the 3-dots icon (far right), and select Resend invite. Reminder! The new user email invitation will expire within 24 hours.
Change role/permission
Click on a user's current Role, then choose the appropriate role/permission from the drop-down menu.
Once a new Role is applied to the user, a confirmation will display at the bottom of the screen.
Suspend or restore a user
To temporarily disable user access to Lineage Link, select the 3-dots icon (far right) and click Suspend.
You will also be prompted with “Are you sure…” and can click Suspend to confirm.
A confirmation will display at the bottom of the screen once the user is suspended.
To restore the users, access later, select the 3-dots icon and click Restore.
Delete a user
To permanently remove a user, select the 3-dots icon and click Delete. This will not delete the user's past data on shipments, etc. Note: This action cannot be undone.
A confirmation will display at the bottom of the screen once the user is deleted.
