Update language and region settings

The language and region setting within a user profile allows a user to select from the available formats for date, time, numerical values, and unit of measure. Formatting applies to key areas of Lineage Link’s user interface, such as Inventory, Orders, Shipments, and Lineage Reports.

Who can use this capability? All Lineage Link users.

Select your profile icon, then click on your name to view your user profile.

Click the Details tab, click Settings, then select Language & region to view formatting options.

Changing your system formatting options

To view or change your formatting, choose from the Preferences listed in the drop-down menu, then click SAVE. Sign out of Lineage Link and sign back in to see the changes applied immediately.

If needed, you can customize your preferences and override the defaults shown, by selecting from the available options listed in the individual drop-down menus outlined below, then click SAVE. Sign out of Lineage Link and sign back in to see the changes applied immediately.

Language: Select from the available languages (additional language translations will become available in the future).
Date format: Select a date format (e.g., dd/mm/yy).
Time format: Select a time format (e.g., 24-hour).
Number format: Select a number format (e.g., #,###,###,###.###).
System: Select a unit of measure (e.g., metric, meter, centimeter).

Inventory example: When viewing the Received date on a pallet.
Order example(s): Viewing the Gross weight of an order.

When creating/modifying the requested Pickup or Delivery Date on an order.
Shipment example: Viewing the Pickup/Delivery date on a shipment.
Lineage Reports example: Date range/format option.
