Understanding date types and visibility
The following dates may be available when viewing items in inventory, depending on what is defined by the customer when configuring items for an account, per facility location.
- Code date: The code date is also known as either the production date or expiration date on an item, depending on what is sent over by the customer.
The code date, if sent over by the customer, is visible under the “Tertiary ID”column of your Inventory page when viewing lots or pallets for an item.
- Received date: When an item is brought into a Lineage warehouse, the received date is applied and visible when viewing pallets for an item.

Sorting items by date (ascending/descending)
To sort your list view of items by date, click the column header (e.g., Tertiary ID).
Each time a header is clicked, the direction of the sort will change and is notated by the arrow displayed to the right of the column header you have sorted (ascending/descending arrow).
Note: Some columns may not have the sort of feature available, however, you can select the Sort icon to see which columns are available to choose from when sorting items.
